Sleep tight, don’t let the Bedbugs bite.

Images following on from a recent Bedbug treatment, carried out through an immaculate residential property.

Our client makes regular business trips through the UK, stopping over in various hotels. Unfortunately, Bedbugs hitched a lift in his belongings, back to his home in Lincolnshire. The Bedbugs went unnoticed for many weeks, resulting in a considerable infestation throughout the master bedroom. Actvity appeared to have stemmed from the bedside drawers, where clothing was kept. Activity then spread to all areas of the bed frame, mattress, headboard and skirting.

We got to work and initially treated all areas of the master bedroom with a dry superheated steam, to 180°c. This treatment kills all live Bedbugs, nymphs, and eggs, instantly.

We followed up by treating all areas of the master bedroom and hallway with a micro-encapsulated residual liquid.

Areas requiring treatment included; the bed frame, mattress, carpet, skirting, curtains, headboard, soft furnishings, bedside cabinets, plug sockets, wardrobes, drawers, door frames, cracks and crevices.

Following on from a successful treatment, we placed pheromone monitors throughout the master bedroom, and adjoining rooms, in order to monitor any possible remaining activity. A visual assessment 21 days later, revealed no further signs of Bedbug activity! 🥳
